Enzymes are used at massive scale across industries—from water and sludge treatment to industrial bioprocessing. Yet conventional enzymes are typically used once and lost, making them a recurring cost with every process cycle.

Zymolent’s reusable enzyme technology changes that equation. Our platform keeps enzymes stable at room temperature and enables their recovery and redeployment across multiple cycles—reducing enzyme consumption, lowering operating costs, and improving process sustainability.

In lignocellulose conversion for 2G bioethanol, where enzymes are among the largest recurring production costs, this can significantly reduce the cost per litre while strengthening the sustainability of the process.

Through advanced isolation, sequencing, and characterisation, we transform these naturally evolved microorganisms into high-performance industrial enzyme blends and innovative agricultural solutions.

Our pilot plant at Guwahati Biotech Park is being developed to translate this technology from the laboratory to industrial scale, with a long-term vision to establish 20,000 metric tonnes per year of enzyme and bioformulation production capacity in Assam.
